About
reopt design
reopt design is the design system workspace where the @reopt-ai packages are built and documented. It publishes both the component library and the tooling that assembles it into product screens.
What we build
React components layered on accessibility primitives, an editable data grid, AI-first editor and chat surfaces, a product shell, and an OKLCH colour engine. Every opt-* package is MIT licensed with no restriction on commercial use. The source is public and the packages are published to npm.

These packages ship under the @reopt-ai scope on npm. Documentation for each lives in the docs hub.

- @reopt-ai/opt-charts — Recharts-based charts, visuals, and metric displays.
- @reopt-ai/opt-datagrid — Keyboard-first editable data grid with remote data sources and large-scale rendering.
- @reopt-ai/opt-editor — AI-first content editor with a block schema, streaming, and RFC 6902 JSON Patch.
- @reopt-ai/opt-chat — AI chat interface with streaming, conversation state, and rich message parts.
- @reopt-ai/opt-calendar — React calendar for events, booking and availability, recurrence, and AI editing.
- @reopt-ai/opt-filemanager — Connector-based file manager UI for browsing, upload queues, and file detail.
- @reopt-ai/opt-shell — Runtime product frame: app shell, workspace recipes, policy and theme, package adapters.
- @reopt-ai/opt-cli — The `opt` CLI for adding copy-paste surfaces and checking harness contracts.
- @reopt-ai/opt-devtool — Development-only overlay inspector and devtool bridges.
- @reopt-ai/brandapp-ui — Copy-paste Brandapp SDK auth surfaces composed on top of opt-ui.
How it is used
Install the packages directly, copy a surface into your project with the opt CLI, or assemble screens in the Builder and export them as code. Using the components requires no account.
